Army distributes relief among needy people in Rangamagti

NEWS DESK: With the spirits of humanity in this critical time of coronavirus outbreak worldwide, army from Rangamati region distributed relief among the ill-fated people of fifty families in the town on Sunday.

Relief distribution programme was held at the compound of Lakers’ Public School and College where poor people stood in several lines by maintaining social distances to receive relief.

Many people in the district headquarters have become jobless and confined in their respective houses due to ongoing ‘Lockdown’ to contain Covid-19 outbreak. From the humanitarian ground, some 50 ultra-poor families were given relief from the army’s spare ration in the Rangamati region headquarters.

Relief packets were kept in a distance of three feet as part of maintaining physical distances to avoid possible coronavirus infection from each other.

Relief packets contains 10 kg of rice, 5 kg of potato, 2 kg of flour, 2 kg of pulse, one litre edible oil, one kg onion, half kg of salt and a soap.

Brigade major Mir Mostafa Kamal PSC, Md. Maj Arif Mahmud, principal of Lakers’ Public School and College, from Rangamati region headquarters and teachers were present during relief distribution activity. (Copy-paste is strictly prohibited and considered it violation of Copy write act).
