CHT Journal Desk: As part of countrywide national programme for distributing governments’ books in the primary and secondary level schools, disbursement of such events were also held in Rangamati district on Monday.
Chairman of Rangamati Hill District Council Brishaketu Chakma distributed books among the students at Banarupa Model Primary School and Rangamati Girl’s High School.
Additional deputy commissioner Abu Sahed Chowdhury, District Education Officer Uttam Khisa, district primary education officer Raoshan Ali, teachers and schools’ governing body’s members were present during the books distribution.
“There is no shortage of governments’ books in this year. Adequate books as per the demand were sent to every primary and secondary school about one back,” said Uttam Khisa, district education officer.
Echoing the same, DOPEO Raoshan Ali, said sufficient books were sent around a month ago to all primary schools in the district. We see no deficit of new books this year, he added. (chtj-desk/report).
