ECD schools opens at Rajdwip in Rangamati
CHTJ Desk: In a view to spread the non formal education for the interest of development of intelectual power and creativity of the chlidren, ASHIKA Manabik Unnoyan Kendra, a local non-goevrnment development organisation, on Tuesday launched Early Childhood Development (ECD) schools at Rajdwip village in the town.
Personnel secretary (PS) to the Chief of Chakma Circle, Subrata Chakma inaugurated the programme as the chief guest.
The people in the village are the stakeholders for the implementation of the two schools meant for mother-tongue based multi-lingual education. Save the Children has extended it cooperartion with financial and technical assistance.
Executive Director of ASHIKA, Biplab Chakma, project manager of Save The Children, Rangamati unit, Minaki Chakma, project director advocate Koxi Talukder, project coordinator Tripon Chakma and Tarun Bikash Chakma, were spoke, amongs others.
Tarun Bikash Chakma donated the land for setting up the two pre-primary schools.
Subrata in his speech said, “It’s a method of highly research activity. Acquiring education not only through books, paper and pens. Their creativity and intellectual capacity has to be developed through providing different short of elements and sports items to them.
Urging villagers, Minaki Chakma, said that it’s your schools and your children will studdy here. Hence, your are assigned for the new duty.
Biplab Chakma expressed his gratitute to the residents of Rajdwip for their sincere cooperation toward his endeavour and made the event a success.
